ProtectED's Protective Bookcase is designed to provide functional storage with critical protection in the event of a public emergency. Ideal for schools, government buildings, hospitals and more, the Protective Bookcase can be quickly pushed and securely locked over an entryway by a single adult or pair of children. With a bullet-resistant fiberglass panel, the bookcase is ballistically rated to stop up to .44 Magnum bullets. To prevent entryway, the case features double rotary latches rated to withstand up to 4,500 pounds. The 360° swiveling casters withstand up to 400 pounds each, making the case a cinch to maneuver. Adjustable shelves offer day-to-day function and a non-threatening appearance. Plus, the unit features a one-hour fire rating and is mold resistant.
